Gary Bretschneider, the Executive Director of the City of Norfolk Housing Agency, and Tom Higginbotham, the Executive Director of the Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District, shared about their journey with infill revitalization. They discussed that every town has those houses that are condemned, dangerous, and an eye-sore for the community. Bretschneider and Higginbotham shared multiple success stories of the process to tear down and clean up properties for new housing construction.

Together with its partners, Omaha by Design is proud to introduce this series of open-source affordable housing prototypes, collaboratively designed to assist prospective homeowners and developers in their efforts to address the "affordability gap" in new-construction infill housing.
Hear the amazing story of how creative partnerships in the City of Plattsmouth saved the Historic Plattsmouth High School. The high school was build in 1918 and is an iconic historical monument on the main street of downtown Plattsmouth. Today the project is complete and is home to 25 units known as "The Lofts on Main".
