Andy Long from McCook Economic Development Corp. & Cultivate Rural Leaders shared about the cultivation of leadership and how this should not just be applied to adult community members, but should start with students as well. He shared about McCook's experience of taking 15 High School students through a leadership program within the community. Megan Spargo a CRA Coordinator, also shared about her experience with developing leadership in the town of Benkelman by creating connections between multiple generations.
Dana Village in Blair, Nebraska is a unique project that shows how one man can change the world. Through a need to rid the Omaha area of homelessness, Ed Shada embarked on a journey to start Dana Village.
